1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the 1Stop mobile application or website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. 1Stop is operated by Elixir Limited, a company registered in Nigeria.
2. About 1Stop
1Stop is a lifestyle booking platform that connects users with businesses across multiple service categories in Lagos, Nigeria. We act as an intermediary — we help you discover and book services, but the services themselves are provided by independent third-party businesses listed on the Platform.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Bookings
When you make a booking through 1Stop, you are entering into an arrangement directly with the service provider. 1Stop facilitates the booking process and sends confirmations via WhatsApp, but we are not a party to any contract between you and the business. Booking availability, pricing, and terms are set by each individual business.
5. Business Listings
Businesses listed on 1Stop are independent entities. We encourage users to check reviews and do their own due diligence before booking.
6. Business Listings Disclaimer
1Stop is a directory platform connecting users with businesses in Lagos. Business listings on 1Stop are sourced from publicly available information. Not all businesses have been independently verified by 1Stop. Businesses displaying a 'Verified' badge have confirmed their identity and claimed their listing through our verification process. 1Stop is not responsible for the accuracy of unverified business information including phone numbers, addresses, or opening hours. Users are advised to confirm details directly with businesses before visiting or booking. If you are a business owner and would like to verify and manage your listing, visit get1stop.com/business.
7. For Business Owners — Registration & Account Access
If you register or claim a business on 1Stop, you become a Business Owner with access to a dashboard at get1stop.com/dashboard. You can sign in using one of three methods:
Magic link — a one-time sign-in link sent to your registered email or WhatsApp. Magic links expire 60 minutes after they are issued and are single-use.
Phone OTP — a one-time code sent via WhatsApp to the phone number on your business listing.
Manual verification — if you cannot pass WhatsApp OTP (for example, the listed phone number is no longer in service), you may request manual verification. We review the request and grant access only after we are reasonably satisfied that you are the owner.
A successful sign-in creates a 30-day session on the device you used. You may sign out at any time. We may revoke sessions if we detect unauthorized access, account compromise, or breach of these Terms.
8. For Business Owners — Owner Responsibilities
By registering or claiming a listing, you agree to:
Provide accurate business information (name, category, address, contact details, opening hours, prices) and keep it up to date.
Honor bookings made through 1Stop in good faith. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to suspension.
Reply to user reviews professionally. Replies are public.
Not misrepresent your business, impersonate another business, or list goods or services you do not actually provide.
Comply with applicable Nigerian law, including consumer protection, tax, and any licensing or permit requirements that apply to your category.
You are responsible for your own legal and tax compliance. 1Stop does not act as your agent.
9. For Business Owners — Information We Collect From You
When you register or claim a listing, we collect:
Business name, category, address, area, and city.
Owner full name, email, and phone number.
Profile photo, business description, opening hours, Instagram handle.
Where relevant: gender preference, age rating, price range.
Optional: CAC registration number; owner ID photo, used only to verify ownership during manual verification.
We use this information to display your listing, route bookings, send you alerts about activity on your listing (reviews, bookings, support requests), and confirm ownership. We never sell business owner contact details. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
10. For Business Owners — Listing Management & Removal
Through the dashboard you can: edit your listing, reply to reviews, request manual review of information you cannot fix yourself, and request removal of your listing.
We may suspend or remove a listing if:
The business is permanently closed or has been impersonated.
We receive credible reports of fraud, illegal activity, or significant misrepresentation.
The owner repeatedly violates these Terms or harms users.
The listing is a duplicate or fails our basic quality bar.
When a listing is removed, we may retain a record (with the data minimized) for fraud prevention and legal compliance for up to 2 years, after which it is permanently deleted.
11. User Conduct
You agree not to: use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; submit false or misleading information; harass, abuse, or harm other users or businesses; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform; use bots or automated tools to interact with the Platform.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including the name "1Stop", logos, design, text, and graphics — is owned by Elixir Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
13. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
14. Limitation of Liability
1Stop is provided "as is". We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or any services booked through it. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
15. Cancellations & Disputes
Cancellation policies are set by individual businesses. If you have a dispute with a service provider, we encourage you to contact the business directly. 1Stop may assist in mediating disputes at our discretion but is not obligated to do so.
16. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via the app or email.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
